Cailee Spaeny, who appeared in HBO’s Mare of Easttown, is currently in talks to star as the lead in the next ‘Alien’ movie which will be produced by Ridley Scott, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Fede Alvarez, the filmmaker and horror content creators behind movies like Don’t Breathe and 2013’s remake of Evil Dead, penned the script and will be directing the project which is slotted to reboot the popular sci-fi horror franchise.
The next movie would mark the 7th in the franchise.
Ridley Scott, who directed the original sci-fi horror movie released in 1979, will produce via his Scott Free banner, alongside Alvarez.
