MAGIC MIKE star JOE MANGANIELLO wasted no time getting in touch with SOFIA VERGARA after learning she’d split from her fiance – he contacted her MODERN FAMILY co-star JESSE TYLER FERGUSON and begged him for her telephone number.
The 42-year-old actress is now engaged to wed Manganiello and she admits he was quick to snap her up when she became single last year (14).
She tells Vanity Fair magazine, “The day that I sent the press release (announcing the break-up with Nick Loeb), Joe immediately contacted Jesse Tyler Ferguson, like, ‘Please, please, please tell her I want her number’.”
Vergara was cautious at first – because she thought Manganiello was too handsome.
She adds, “After two days of Jesse trying to convince me, I’m like, ‘OK, give him my number’. I’m thinking, ‘I’m in New Orleans shooting, and he’s in L.A. Nothing’s going to happen’. But we started talking a lot, and then he showed up in New Orleans. Since then we’ve been inseparable. There’s nothing about him I’d change, other than the fact that he’s four years younger than me.”
In the Vanity Fair spread, Vergara gives lusty male fans a glimpse of what only her man sees as she lounges topless on a beach chair, and admits she has a love/hate relationship with her famous boobs.
She adds, “My boobs are, like, huge. My whole life, buying a bra was a nightmare. What I used to do when I moved to L.A., I found places like Frederick’s of Hollywood that make bras for (strippers). Believe me, I wish I had fake boobs. I lay down and they completely go down like all the way… It’s not fun.” (KL/VF/MT)
